Spanning 400 hectares, Kings Park and Botanical Garden is a haven for biodiversity and displays the state's most diverse and spectacular flora. Take to the paths and uncover this colourful and unique world during a guided 7km hike, boasting gorgeous views of the Swan River and Mt Eliza escarpment. Hear past time stories as you wind through the memorials, visit Gija Jumulu the 750 year old Boab tree and stroll along the Boodia Gnarning walk trail which showcases the diverse methods of survival used by the Nyoongar people. Continue amongst the treetops as you wander along the Lottery West Federation Walkway, illustrating striking artwork of the Centenary of Federation, Aboriginal culture and the trees of the Swan Coastal Plain.

This hike is considered grade two. A basic level of fitness is recommended.
