Set your alarm clocks early for this wonder-filled full day adventure! Departing from Airlie Beach as the world still sleeps, you will head to Cape Hillsborough National Park to watch the sunrise from the beach and in the company of local kangaroos and wallabies. After the colourful show, enjoy a wander through the National Park rainforest, exploring Indigenous fish traps and trails and learning about Aboriginal culture, food and medicine, before winding down with a bakery breakfast and fruit on the beach. You'll continue navigating through the rainforest until you arrive at a magnificent waterfall and swimming hole in the Eungella National Park. Take the plunge and cool off in the pristine waters, soaking up the serene ambience of this stunning location. On the way home, you'll stop off at a local cafe for lunch (at your own expense) before heading home.

Session Length

  • This experience is 10 hours in duration
  • Tours depart two hours before sunrise. The time will vary depending on the time of year

Guidelines

  • Participants must be able to swim confidently to participate in waterfall swimming activities
  • Lunch is not included. BYO lunch or you can purchase lunch at a local cafe
  • Participants will need to pre-order their croissant selection - Option 1: ham and cheese croissant, or Option 2: butter and jam croissant

Cancellation

Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:

  • A minimum of 48 hours notice is required for cancellations

Numbers on the Day

Minimum of four and a maximum of seven participants.

Weather

In the event of rain, the tour will not be cancelled. Tours will only be cancelled due to extreme weather or excessive rain causing road closures or access issues.

Dress Code

Please bring swimwear, a towel, comfortable walking shoes, sun protection, insect repellent and a jacket in winter.
