Get ready for an exhilarating one hour jet ski safari for two, with both riders sharing a jet ski as you explore stunning waterways and coastal scenery. Your adventure begins with a safety briefing and practice ride, where experienced guides will run through everything you need to know before hitting the water.

Once you are ready to go, your guides will divide the group into fast, medium and slow riding groups, allowing you to find a pace that suits your confidence and experience. Then set off on a 30km adventure through winding waterways, riding past mangroves, subtropical islands, sandbars and beautiful coastal scenery.

You will cover approximately 15km before returning to Main Beach, with plenty of opportunity to enjoy the thrill of riding across the water. All necessary safety equipment is provided, along with a waterproof container for keeping your phone, camera and wallet secure during your adventure.

Important information

Session Length

The jet ski portion of this experience is one hour in duration
This experience is approximately two hours including the safety briefing
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the experience start
Available daily at 10am, 12pm, and 2.30pm

Guidelines

Minimum passenger age is six years old
Participants aged 12 to 15 can drive a jet ski with a parent or guardian as a passenger
Participants aged 16 to 17 years old may hire and drive a jet ski independently with parent or guardian consent
Maximum combined weight on the jet ski is 200 kilograms
All participants must sign a disclaimer
This experience is not suitable for pregnant participants
A fuel surcharge applies and is payable on arrival
Per two participants one jet ski is provided

Fuel surcharge rates are as follows

30 minute tour is five dollars
One hour tour is 10 dollars
90 minute tour is 15 dollars
2.5 hour tour is 25 dollars

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

This voucher is valid for two people.

Spectators

Spectators are not permitted.

Weather

In the event of rain or inclement weather your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider. If the experience is cancelled due to bad weather, you will be rescheduled by the experience provider directly.

Dress Code

Please wear comfortable clothes like shorts and a t-shirt or swimwear. Sunglasses are recommended.

Our guide Josh was excellent. He knew it was our first time so gave us handy hints on how to control the jet ski. We felt very safe with him. Amazing scenery to the island. Heaps of fun!!

This was our third time jet skiing with Jet Ski Safaris. Like previous trips, we had a heap of fun out on the water. That said, this trip seemed to lack some organisation. With a big group participating (it is school holidays after all), there was plenty of wait time throughout, especially once we were on the jet skis. We certainly had more than an hour on the water but it all felt a bit disjointed and rushed in places. We’ll definitely be back but may be a bit more strategic about when we come. Thanks again for having us.

Shout out to Benji, Sam and Elias. Great guides. Great tour. Great experience. We joined the early morning session and indulged in a lovely breakfast on the island at Tipplers. As a family of six we had an absolute blast! We were able to all go at various paces according to our abilities. So much fun. Definitely worth the money! Keep up the great work!

So much fun, out on the water with Jet Ski Safari. Safety briefing was clear and the our guide, Liam was helpful. Went up to South Stradbroke, rested a little and then made our way back to depot. 1.5 full hours on the water. Loved it.

Booking process was difficult

The booking process between RedBalloon and Jet Ski Safari was difficult. The RedBalloon booking site did not allow me to make a booking, regardless of the intervention by the RedBalloon support team. The service provider also initially had some limitations on the dates and times I was seeking. The end result was positive. I turned up unannounced to Jet Ski Safari and explained the situation and they put me on their next safari (within the hour). The RedBalloon support staff made efforts throughout the process, and this is appreciated. But it was my personal intervention that ensured I could make the best use of the voucher. The Jet Ski experience was great. I'd do it again.
