A fun, romantic day out for those who are partial to an Italian drop, this wine tasting takes place at a family-owned winery that specialises in the production of Pinot Grigio, Arneis, Prosecco, Sangiovese and Nebbiolo. Your experience will start with a structured wine tasting with an expert; they will discuss with you and your partner in wine, the differences in Italian wine varieties and the different techniques employed to make them. Once you've finished your tasting, you'll be able to pick a favourite wine and enjoy a glass of it with an Italian style grazing platter with locally sourced ingredients in the cellar door garden. Relax and indulge in a picturesque setting and perhaps purchase some bottles for home!

Italian Wine experience was brilliant

Mario handled our booking professionally and with customer experience at the forefront. Our wine tasting experience was provided with expert delivery by Chas who made us feel special and provided a comprehensive run down on each wine tasted with just the right amount of each in quality glassware to bring out the best in each wine. The lunch platter with views of the surrounding hills was perfect to complement the wines and follow up coffee and homemade cakes (extras) a perfect end to the experience. Thank Mario and Chas for a memorable day.

Carla showed us some of the historical parts of the building and gave us an overview of the family history, starting out as tobacco growers, and subsequently moving into wine. She showcased a selection of wines suitable to each of our completely different tastes and highlighted the differences between some of the older and newer wines in the Italian style. We both really enjoyed the experience and discovered some very good ones we otherwise may never have tried. The platter was also of a high standard and had variety and quantity for our pleasant lunch in the al fresco dining area.

We enjoyed a wine tasting like no other at Pizzini's and thank the staff for a fantastic experience. Not only were we tasting their range of wines but how the taste can be changed by different foods and the shape and colour of the glass as well as some history of the winery and winemaking at Pizzini's. All while enjoying the beautiful view across the King Valley and the nearby hills. It was a perfect Sunday outing.

Great lunch, excellent service, very personalised tasting and extremely informative. The surroundings where relaxing, though the smoke was still hanging around. I would highly recommend a visit.

Fascinating to taste different wines , in a variety of glasses and combined with different foods It is amazing the tricks or mind plays on us. Well worth trying. Lovely picnic to follow up.
