The only way to see more, do more and have more fun while making the most of your time in Hervey Bay is to jump aboard the Wipeout and set off on this five-hour adventure cruise that is equal parts exhilaration and wonder. Once you are checked in and you have your snorkel set sorted, jump on board the 11-metre semi-rigid inflatable vessel affectionately known as the Wipeout where the crew will give you a run-down of the day and a safety brief. Once your out of the harbour we'll crank the tunes, show off the boats water acrobatics and see where the tides take us! Your experienced skipper will base the itinerary on the weather and the passengers interests, meaning you get the best possible experience. Wipeout is the perfect platform for interactive natural experiences as you get incredibly close to nature from the comfort and safety of the vessel, and with a maximum of 16 guests on the tour, it allows all guests to experience paradise away from the crowds.

When your not onboard cruising the creeks or speeding from hotspot to hotspot, there will be plenty of time to jump off the boat for a swim, snorkel or sunbathe, or to challenge your mates to a game of beach cricket, frisbee, or footy. Alternatively, enjoy a guided walk and learn more about the area, make the most of the unique photo opportunities on offer or simply sit back and relax in the incredible surroundings. You will love this little taste of island life as you relax on secret beaches, snorkel with marine life and swim in the calm turquoise waters of Fraser Island.

This is an adventure, so be prepared for sea-spray and the hot Queensland sun
Although good health and a positive attitude are essential, you do not need any prior experience to partake in a Kâ€™gari Salty Safari adventure
A signed release will be required from all participants on departure
Arrive wearing your swimmers (there is no change room available)
We have a flexible itinerary - the tour may be different each day depending on sea conditions
Our tours are suitable for ages three and above, but it is essential passengers can climb up and down a ladder for beach/water access
This is a fast ride, there will be bumps and quick turns so please consider your physical and medical conditions before booking

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Sites are weather and tide permitting. K'Gari Salty Safaris reserves the right to arrange alternate itineraries when necessary. Please note departure times may sometimes be weather and tidal-dependent. On occasion, we may have to cancel tours due to unfavourable weather conditions

Dress Code

Sun protection is essential. Please bring a hat (with a strap), sunscreen, sunglasses and a sun shirt. Swimmers and towel. Suitable shoes (think thongs, crocs, or reef shoes)

Island Hopper Adventure was absolutely Amazing!

I highly recommend this tour. I done it for my 21st (10/01) and had an absolute blast! I believe we had Mark and Annika, both made the experience enjoyable and rememberable. Full of information and happy to answer questions. Would do it again.
