Head to Irukandji Shark & Ray Encounters for a unique and immersive animal adventure like no other! You will step into the shallow waters of the tropical lagoon and encounter the friendly resident sharks and rays who reach a new level of excitement when you're close by. Feel the magic of these beautiful creatures as they sweep past your feet and get to know their endearing personalities as you feed and pet them. Your entry pass also includes walking around the aquarium, food for the sharks and rays and educational talks by the knowledgeable fish keepers.

Please allow two hours for this experience
Your ticket is valid for all day entry

Guidelines

Suitable for all ages and swimming abilities
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult in the water

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Weather

Operates in all weather conditions. The outdoor lagoon will only be evacuated during electrical storms.

Dress Code

Shoes must be worn except when inside the water - you can go barefoot or purchase a pair of wear & keep souvenir socks if you want to keep your toes covered. Swimwear is not needed, shorts or skirts (or pants you can roll up) are recommended.

Other Info

Hire a wetsuit for $18 at the venue so you can wade into the deeper waters and get closer to the action.

The kids had a great time

My one suggestion is that they make the stingray pool area that you walk in a little bit deeper. Then the kids would be less likely to splash and disturb the stingrays.

Thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Irukanji Shark and Ray Encounters. The staff were amazing and very knowledgeable. Being able to feed and touch the rays and sharks was incredible! Reasonably priced for a one of a kind experience. Perfect for all ages. We will be returning with the whole family.
