Southern Cultural Immersion proudly operates on the land of the Kaurna people, the Traditional Owners of the Adelaide region. Engage in local arts and culture in this two-hour guided workshop, in an Introduction to Aboriginal Art Class. Connect with Kaurna culture as your First Nations guide talks you through the history of Kaurna art and symbols, before you begin creating your own personalised piece. With all materials provided, all you need to do is bring yourself, and your own creative flair! We invite you to explore our authentic gift shop and art gallery at the conclusion of your experience.

Such a fun and educational experience

my partner and I had a great experience during out weaving workshop! The Aboriginal elder was so kind, funny and was excited to teach us all about Aboriginal weaving. The cultural centre is also nice and new which is very inviting. There's also a large grassy outdoor area which is lovely to sit and do weaving too. Highly recommend this unique experience
