Enjoy a fun, hands-on and educational day out at Trevena Glen Farm. This three hour experience allows you to feed, groom and play with a variety of friendly farm animals including pigs, donkeys, horses, alpacas and more. Morning tea is provided.

Discover what it's like to be a farmer for a few hours at Trevena Glen Farm! Located 40 minutes north west of Brisbane, experience many of the aspects of daily farm life including feeding, grooming and washing. You'll get to meet and play with a variety of friendly animals including donkeys, chickens, guinea pigs, alpacas, goats and pigs. After helping out with the morning tasks, you'll be treated to a tasty morning tea. An awesome day out for the whole family to enjoy!

Participate in the following activities:

  • Groom donkeys, cows and goats
  • Learn to lead and pet alpacas
  • Brush and wash mini horses and plait their manes
  • Learn about candling and egg incubation
  • Wash and pet pigs
  • Cuddle, groom and wash guinea pigs
  • Learn about and try clicker training with animals

Important information

  • This experience is three hours in duration including morning tea and lunch
  • Available Monday to Saturday from 9am-12pm. Closed on Sundays and public holidays
  • Guests are welcome to stay up to 4 hours on site
  • This program is designed for ages six and up including adults
  • Younger children are welcome but must be keep supervised at all times. Infants under two are free
  • Dietary requirements can be accommodated with sufficient notice
  • A small amount of walking is involved. A basic level of fitness is required
  • Bookings are essential with 24 hour minimum notice
  • Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

This tour runs with a maximum of eight people and minimum of two people (exception for large single group bookings).

Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately.

Please dress according to the weather forecast. Typically long pants and closed-in shoes are required.

Horse riding experiences can also be done onsite (additional cost). Pre-booking is required.

Trevena Glen Farm is located 40 minutes north west of Brisbane CBD and situated in the foot hills of the D’Aguilar Mountain Range.

Best family experience to date

We had the most amazing experience “working” on the farm for the 3hrs. Megan was our personal tour and she was sensational. We learnt a lot about the animals and conquered fears too. Very hands on experience that we will remember forever.
