Have you ever sat on a beach and looked in amazement at the surfers carve up the waves? Here's your chance to learn to surf with Australian and World Pro-am Champion, Merrick Davis and his team of world-class coaches. Learn all aspects of safety and board skills in a safe, supportive environment!

What's included?

Surfboard, rash vest and wetsuit (winter only)

On the day of your surfing experience, we will meet you at out surf trailer and be given your rash vest and surfboard in preparation for your 2 hour lesson. With a short stroll through the bush track, you will step onto Noosa Main Beach where your coach will sit you down and begin to explain about surf safety and ocean awareness.

You will be then shown how to paddle your board on the sand. Once you have mastered this, it's into the water for real time paddling. Back to the beach again where you will be shown our easy 1-2-3 method of standing on your surfboard. It's back to the water for you to start surfing. Enjoy the exhilaration of catching your first wave and riding to the beach having the time of your life. You won't be able to wipe the smile off your face. After the lesson, youll be presented with a certificate and be offered post lesson advice.

Important information

Session Length

This surfing experience is available 8.45am daily, except Christmas Day. Lessons are 2 hours in duration. We recommend that you book at least 24 hours in advance of your preferred date.

Restrictions

Not suitable for pregnant women.

Guidelines

This experience is suitable for everyone from age 7 and older. Children must be able to swim at least 25 metres. You must be over 18 years of age to sign the waiver. Parents / guardians will be required to sign a waiver on their children's behalf.

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

We operate with 1 coach for every 7 surfers.

Spectators

Yes, shaded area and toilets and drinking water nearby.

Weather

You surfing lessons may be cancelled due to beach closures, rough conditions or stormy weather. In the rare case that your experience is cancelled, we will reschedule your experience for a later date.

Dress Code

You will get wet on this experience, so bring a towel and some fresh drinking water. Your surfboard and rash vest is provided on the day of your experience.

Other Info

All of our coaching staff are fully qualified and accredited and hold blue cards. You will be required to sign a waiver on the day. Children between 7 - 18 years will need to have a parent or guardian sign on their behalf.

Location

Noosa, Queensland. Just 1.5 hours north of Brisbane or 30 minutes drive north from Maroochydore Airport.

I've always wanted to learn to surf and I'm so pleased I purchased this experience. The instructors were great, very patient, knowledgeable and caring. Their mission was to ensure everyone enjoyed themselves. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face when I caught my first wave! Will definitely do it again.

This was my first time surfing and it was fantastic. The instructor was very clear and concise with instructions on the method, made everyone feel welcome and gave great feedback to get you up and going. A great morning! I'm totally addicted. I will be back for more.
