Why You'll Love This

What's Included?

  • Tour Australia's oldest and biggest brewery
  • Experience the time honoured tradition of beer brewing
  • See where over 2 million litres of beer is brewed every day
  • Watch over 100 stubbies being bottled every minute

This is a genuine working brewery and production numbers vary, as such, the Carlton Brewhouse cannot guarantee that all areas of the brewery will be in operation on the day of your tour.

The Carlton and United Brewery tour gives you an insight into the history and tradition of beer brewing in Australia, the art of brewing, and a birds-eye view of the plant's state-of-the-art technology. Of course a brewery tour wouldn't be complete without some complimentary tastings of fresh, cold beer afterwards! The Brewhouse Cafe is open 11.30am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday, as well as for evening and Saturday tours. Cafe items can be purchased for lunch before or after your tour.

Tours are available Wednesdays and Thursdays at noon, Fridays and Saturdays at 11am or 1pm, and Sundays at 12.30pm. Not available Monday, Tuesday's, or Public Holidays. Please note that the bottling line generally doesn’t operate Saturdays, Sundays and some Fridays as the brewery operates on a ‘brewery fresh’ basis and production schedules vary.

Please note participants MUST wear enclosed shoes.
