Get caught up in the rush searching for gold and gemstones at the Goldfields in Ballarat. You'll learn how to pan for gold just like those early Australians did at the height of the gold rush in the mid 1800s. You'll also try your hand at turning up something with the latest metal detectors.
Travel out to the famed Goldfields of Ballarat and learn about the historical gold rush of the 1800s. Your experienced tour guides will help you pan for gold, look for gemstones and use the latest metal detectors. This half day tour is a great way to get out and see the gorgeous bushland of the area, be active and learn a new skill. You and your group of up to 8 participants will all learn together and help each other, enjoying a delicious morning tea after your hard work. Who knows, you might even discover a little gold nugget or two!
The tour commences at 9.00am and finishes at 1.00pm at Creswick.
Not suitable for children under 5.
