Enter the laboratory and distill your very own 700ml bottle of gin during this gin-making class at Manly Spirits. You'll take charge of a gleaming mini copper still and use a variety of local and exotic botanicals to make your own blend. A gin and tonic, cocktail and antipasto plate are provided.

Start the class and your palate off with a gin and tonic on arrival, followed by an introduction on how they produce their gin and what it takes to create a well balanced and harmonious blend. You'll then take charge of a gorgeous mini copper still and create your own bespoke bottle of gin to take home. An experienced gin distiller will guide you through the entire process, recommending the best botanicals to include that will suit your gin style. Be inspired by Australian native and foraged marine, citrus, herbal, floral and spice botanicals, or feel free to bring your own botanicals to use. Once complete, you will name your creation, before bottling it and personalising your special 'Stillhouse' bottle label in its gift box. A delicious cocktail and antipasto plate will be served during the class.

Gin Making & Tasting for two

For what it cost, the experience wasn’t overwhelming. There was music playing in part of the venue, so hearing our host was very difficult. The antipasto food came out at the end, which we all thought would of been better whilst the distillation process was going through.

Jade was absolutely amazing! Full of fun facts to keep the conversation going and secret tricks to make our personalised Gin taste better. The gin and tonic, cocktail, and cheese platter were all fabulous. It's so much fun learning about how Gin is made whilst making your own signature bottle. In the warehouse you can see how Manly Spirits make their alcohol while you sit in a beautiful room with beakers and test tubes and spices and herbs ready to make your own. I would do this class again and recommend it to all Gin lovers.

I have never been to a gin master class before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect - But whatever expectations I had were blown away! The class instructor was very knowledgeable and friendly. The process of making your own gin was quite personalized as there are so many botanical options to choose from. Plus, the cocktails and cheese board were delicious. Will definitely be back!

I bought this for a friends birthday and the whole experience was definitely not worth it. They gave you four different gins to taste and barely any explanation on the history. The food and drinks were also additional ontop of this voucher which were way overpriced and a very minimal selection. Quote disappointed.
