This fast track barista workshop will give you a head-start on seeking work in the industry. Over a full day, you'll learn the fundamental concepts and techniques required for making cafe quality coffee, as well as tips for barista workflow to keep up in a busy cafe environment.
The fast track barista workshop will set you up with the skills, knowledge and training to become a barista in a day. Working on a commercial grade coffee machine, you'll learn how to pour the perfect espresso shot and the technique for milk texturing as you work your way through the café menu. You’ll also discover the rich international history of coffee and how coffee is grown and harvested. The barista trainer will educate you on the roasting process, the characteristics of different coffee beans and what to look for when purchasing coffee beans. They will also share their tips on barista workflow so you'll be confident in a busy cafe environment. The workshop is hands-on offering plenty of practical time to gain experience.
People of all ages attend this workshop. Please enquire with the provider if you have any questions or concerns.
Participants are welcome and encouraged to bring their own snacks and lunch to the workshop.
