Discover Tasmania’s stunning East Coast on this full-day small-group tour from Hobart. Enjoy a scenic drive along the Great Eastern Drive, stopping at a local bakery for breakfast, coffee before exploring the charming coastal towns of Buckland, Orford, and Swansea. Capture perfect photos of Maria Island from Raspins Beach, then take a guided walk to the world-famous Wineglass Bay Lookout in Freycinet National Park—an unforgettable view of turquoise waters and white sand. Visit Honeymoon Bay and Cape Tourville for more breathtaking coastal scenery. Savor fresh local seafood, wood-fired pizza, and Tasmanian wine at Devils Corner Winery, with panoramic views of The Hazards and Great Oyster Bay. If time allows, treat yourself at Kate’s Berry Farm before exploring historic Richmond Village, home to Australia’s oldest convict-built bridge. End the day with sweeping views of Hobart and Mount Wellington from Rosny Hill Lookout.

The highlight of the day is no doubt the 40 minute walk to Wineglass Bay Lookout. Walk the well-constructed track at your own pace and take your time to appreciate the beautiful surrounds and clean air. If you would like to walk down to Wineglass Bay Beach, this can be arranged with your guide in advance. Bear in mind this is a steeper track requiring a higher level of fitness. Afterwards, you'll enjoy lunch at one of the local beaches or if you prefer seafood, a stop can be made at the Marine Farm. After exploring all of the hotspots and hidden treasures of the park, the day ends with a final stop at Kate’s Berry Farm to sample their fresh produce or famous ice cream.
