Explore a region as old as time during an awe-inspiring 4WD tour in the Flinders Ranges. Departing from Arkaroola, this half day 4WD Ridgetop tour takes you through ancient landscapes, across razor-back ridges and peaks of the Flinders Ranges most rugged mountains, past majestic gorges and flora and fauna unseen anywhere else in the world. As you navigate the terrain, your knowledgeable guide will enlighten you about the region's 1,600 million year old geological history which forms some of the oldest parts of the Flinders Ranges. You'll head to Sillers Lookout for morning or afternoon tea, which overlooks the 1000-metre-deep Yudanamutana Gorge and the Lake Frome salt lake beyond. This region can only be seen to be believed.

The 4WD tour was amazing, the tracks we went on were rough and tough, but I had trust in our driver and felt safe. It was a great experience, so glad we did it.

The ridge top tour was absolutely wonderful, informative and unique. We were driven by Doug who has a great sense of humour and loads of knowledge about the area. The views are some like I’ve never seen before. Jo and the workers are also wonderful and extremely friendly and accommodating. I look forward to going back.
