A completely intimate, natural experience set within the candle lit rainforest under a black silk canopy highlighted by crystal and bud light chandeliers, this dining experience creates an unforgettable memory at an extraordinary natural venue.

In a secluded glade your evening begins. Enjoy sparkling wine and canapés whilst surrounded by ancient rainforest. Be beckoned further and experience a magnificent, six course, tropical banquet with your table friends accompanied by Australian wines and beer. Savour the delicious dishes as the mood is heightened by a solo acoustic guitarist.

Menu Entree

  • Lightly seared kangaroo loin carpaccio served with a rocket, parmesan & Spanish onion salad with fresh truffle oil & dressed with aged balsamic glaze

2nd Course

  • Smoked crocodile rillette with crisp ciabatta croute & salsa verde
  • House made spanner crab tortellini in a fennel cream sauce with fresh garden herbs

3rd Course

  • Pan seared coral trout on sauted seasonal greens with a lemon myrtle infused beurre blanc accompanied by a fresh herb salsa
  • Port braised beef cheek on duchess potato accompanied by spring baby vegetables


  • Black sappote pav with orange blossom cream and pistachio nut praline

Session Length

This experience begins at 7.30pm and finishes at 10.30pm and is available every Saturday night except 25 & 26 December and 1 January.


  • Minimum age is 16 years old.
  • Menu is subject to seasonal change and at the chef's discretion
  • This evening is not suitable for vegetarians


Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:


  • Over 2 weeks prior to the experience date: No charge
  • 48 hours to up to 2 weeks prior to the experience date: $50 per person participant fee to change the experience date and time
  • Within 48 hours of the experience date, No Shows and Late Arrivals: Participants forfeit their experience and therefore are not entitled to a refund or to re-book. Participants are advised to make their own insurance provisions in case of unforeseen circumstances

Numbers on the Day

This experience is for one person however there may be up to 40 guests at the dinner. Square tables of two or your party size available for dinner.



The evening is conducted undercover. In the event of adverse weather the supplier may have to alter the running times and venues. The evening will remain as close to the promoted event as possible without compromising guests' comfort and safety.

Dress Code

Bring along a jacket in cooler months, flat comfortable shoes, an umbrella (it is sheltered in case of rain but you may need it for the walk), your imagination and insect repellent.

This experience takes place in Port Douglas, Tropical North, QLD. All guests are collected from their hotel in Port Douglas or Thala Beach by coach and returned at the end of the event.
