This local skipper has over 20 years experience in the Noosa area, and can take you to all of the best spots on the Noosa offshore reefs to hook up. Fish for snapper, pearl perch, sweetlip, cobia, parrot, marlin, mackerel and more of the Sunshine Coasts species in a 11.3 metre custom built fishing boat. The boat boasts more room per angler than any other offshore fishing boat in Noosa! If you are looking to fish in Noosa, look no further than this experience.

Important information

Session Length

Please allow five hours in total, including 30 minutes to and from the outer reef and four hours of fishing time
Available seven days a week, weather permitting
Departs between 5am and 7am, depending on the tide times

Guidelines

The minimum age is 12 years.

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

There is one skipper and one deck hand. The boat is surveyed to carry 12 passengers plus the 2 crew. The boat comfortably fishes 12 people

Weather

This experience is affected by weather, Rain does not affect it, but strong offshore winds and high seas do. It is best to call the night before your scheduled trip to confirm.

Never got to go, haven't been refunded

Had to call him am hour before he closed to make sure the trip i was going on the next day was still on. Said he didn't have enough people and tried to get me to rebook after I asked for a refund. Been 3 weeks and still no refund

Charter fishing

The weather was ok very windy with large waves which allowed me little balance and plenty of vomiting 🤢 due to seasickness. We had 11 on board of which 8 were sick. Made the trip terrible. Couldn't fish myself or my son as I was too ill and still feeling the effects the next day. Any thought that I had for charter boat fishing is long gone, to a point I would not even want to buy a fishing boat for myself. This experience has turned me off this type of activity for life. Crew and boat were fine.

It was a awesome day out fishing on Fishing Offshore out of Noosa. The captain put as on the spot every move and there was enough room to move around in the boat . The best bit was that we took a few feeds of reef fish home for the family. Thank you.

Went on the trip with 4 of us and we all had such a great time despite two of us getting sea sick! About 11 in total on board and everyone caught at least 1 fish. The boat crew were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! Would definitely do it again!

Could be better Being out on the water on such a beautiful day and seeing a whale was wonderful. There were too many people to fish properly, we constantly got tangled with each other, and we had to stand the whole time. We were taken to a nursery reef really, sure to catch a fish or two, but not much we could keep.

Fantastic morning fishing, caught a boatload of snapper, and also some sweet lip, red emperor, and more. They even filleted the fish for us!
