Thai cooking looks easy doesn't it? Well it is! An experienced chef hosts this cooking class with all the tips to turn simple fresh ingredients into stunning gourmet cuisine. The fragrance, the recipes, the technique, eating the food... what could be more fun?! Learn skills you'll use forever!
This cooking class is a self contained introduction to everything that you want to know about getting started in Thai cooking! You will see, touch, and smell the fresh ingredients for the class as the chef tells you specific details about Asian vegetables and spices, how to identify them and how to get the most out of them.
You will then examine the grocery items from a typical Asian supermarket so you can find out where everything is and what it all means the next time you go shopping. The chef demonstrates the courses to be cooked, and answers any questions. The students then break into small groups to prepare the meal under the guidance of the chef.
When all is ready, you will sit down and eat at a large single set table with your cooking class colleagues.
This experience mostly operates on Saturdays and Sundays

This experience is not suitable for people under 18 years of age.
This class runs with a maximum of 16 people. During the class you will usually be cooking in pairs. A minimum of 10 people are required to run each class. Participants will be contacted prior to the class date to reschedule if minimum numbers have not been reached.
This experience does not have provision for spectators.
This experience is not affected by weather.
Casual and comfortable clothing is recommended
Any changes to a booking up to 5 days before a class will incur a $25 administration fee (GST included). No changes (apart from attendee name), can be made to a booking less than 5 days before a class
