The Escape Hunt is an exhilarating new real life interactive escape room experience currently taking the world by storm. Escape Hunt offers three differently themed rooms, each with an exciting and different crime to solve, puzzles and decor. You can book two of the same themed room to compete head to head against your friends and see who comes out first! Escape Hunt is also a totally unique and exciting venue to hold events - from birthdays, hens and bucks nights to corporate team building.

Room Themes (subject to change):

Law and Disorder (3/5 Star Difficulty) Play the role of an undercover detective investigating the disappearance and possible murder of your partner during the roaring 1920s! After infiltrating a bootlegging establishment of an infamous gangster, you must gather evidence your partner has left behind in order to create a case against the crime boss. Will you be able to convict this criminal and make an escape before it's too late? Recommended 3-5 players.

Zodiac Heist (4/5 Star Difficulty) A thief has been breaking into vaults across Melbourne. Due to the letters and cryptograms they leave at the crime scene, he or she has been dubbed the Zodiac Thief. As detectives you follow the clues to an abandoned mine. However, as you descend the mine shaft the lift shuts down. Can you beat the Zodiac Thief at their own game or will the thief strike again?

Aladdin & The Magic Vault (2/5 Star Difficulty) It’s up to you to get the lamp back and rescue the genie before it’s too late. But it won’t be easy, the lamp is being held in the infamous Magic Vault, secured with powerful spells that will take all your wits to break!

Redacted (5/5 Star Difficulty) The internet is in an uproar. A notorious blogger and conspiracy theorist is rumored to have infiltrated a highly classified government research facility deep in the Australian outback, the infamous ‘Area 48.’ While many dismiss him nothing more than a delusional madman, his large group of loyal followers believe there’s more to his claims. The trouble is, he’s gone off the grid and hasn’t been heard from in days. Hired to do the unthinkable; your mission is to break into Area 48, expose its dark secretes, and if he’s still alive, bring him back.

Session Length

This experience is open everyday (including most public holidays) with fixed time slots every 90 minutes from 10am to 8:30pm
The total experience lasts 90 minutes which includes 10 minutes for briefing, 60 minutes to escape the room and 20 minutes for photo booth
Monday-Thursday/Sunday: 11.30, 1.00, 2.30, 4.00, 5.30 and 7.00 pm
Friday/Saturday: 11.00, 12.30, 2.00, 3.30, 5.00, 6.30, 8.00, 9.30 pm

Guidelines

Minimum age is seven years
Participants under 16 years old need to be be accompanied by an adult due to the challenging nature of the puzzles
Suitable for all abilities including the disabled

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Well designed, lots of fun

A good time! The puzzles were very well-designed and were the right level of difficulty for my group - not too easy to the point we breezed through, not too hard to the point we were stumped. If I had to criticise anything it'd be that the production value on the visual design of the room left a bit to be desired and was a bit cheaper looking than some other escape rooms I've been to, but that didn't really detract from the experience much at all. There was a photo booth in the lobby which was a fun way to cap things off and get something to commemorate the occasion. Would recommend as a great excuse to hang out and have fun with friends :)
