Cruising on the smooth waters of the Moreton Bay Marine Park with its pristine sand cays and amazing bird life is a perfect way to learn about the fragile ecology of the region. The Pumicestone Passage, on Caloundra’s doorstep, is 35kms long and separates Bribie Island National Park from the mainland. This internationally significant Marine Park with its numerous islands and creeks is home to over 300 bird species and is an important sanctuary in their migration. Come and enjoy a cruise with a difference!

There are usually between ten and twenty passengers. There are always two staff members on board: the skipper and tour guide. Please note this experience requires minimum numbers to proceed, the experience providers will contact you prior if minimum numbers are not met.
The Eco Explorer cruise runs in all weather, except in 30knot winds. The lower decks of the vessels are protected and comfortable in all weather conditions. If your experience is cancelled it will be rescheduled for a later date.
Comfortable and casual clothes. Flat shoes and sun hat are recommended.
The vessels are eco friendly and provide great bird watching opportunities in the Marine Park. All the food is locally sourced or produced on the Sunshine Coast.
