What's included?

20 minute in-water dolphin adventure
The use of supplied wetsuit or rash vest and board shorts (seasonal) is required
Marine Mammal trainer host

Children will have the opportunity to stand on a submersed platform and get close to Sea Worldâ€™s beautiful dolphins. Kids will love dolphin's cheeky, gentle and inquisitive nature.

Every experience is unique based on the guest, trainer and dolphins, and includes patting a dolphin.

Participants will also hear and learn about the life and typical behaviours of these incredible creatures.

To participate in this experience, participants must purchase a Sea World entry ticket or hold a valid pass for entry to Sea World.

Before you book, make sure you get your measuring tape out! There are height and age restrictions, so please check the information listed below.

Session Length

Program duration is approximately 45 minutes, with approximately 20 minutes in the water
Sea World - Current operating hours are 10am - 5pm
Closed on ANZAC Day (25 April) and Christmas Day (25 December)
Rides and attractions are subject to change to enable maintenance and some rides and attractions will not operate during inclement weather conditions. Please note queue lines may close earlier to allow attractions to finish in line with park closing times.

Restrictions

Please present this ticket to the Animal Adventures Check-In Centre located inside Sea World ONE HOUR PRIOR to your program time. All participants must be present at check-in. A wetsuit or rash vest and board shorts will be supplied and must be worn. Sizes range from XS to 7XL. Should we not have your size, please contact Guest Services to make other arrangements. Swimwear must be worn underneath wet suits or rash vests and board shorts. By proceeding with your booking you have acknowledged and agreed that you do meet all participation criteria. If at any time prior to the program or during the program you are assessed as not being able to fulfill the criteria, you will be asked to leave the program. Unfortunately no refund is payable. Booking is valid only for the date, time and program specified. All programs will proceed in wet weather. No refunds or rainchecks are available if you choose not to participate due to weather conditions

Guidelines

Participants must purchase a Sea World entry ticket or hold a valid pass for entry to Sea World
Participants must be aged five to 13 years of age inclusive and a minimum of 110cm in height (measured without footwear). Children will be measured on the day of participation. If the child does not meet the height restriction they will not be able to participate and will not be eligible for a refund
Participants must purchase a Sea World entry ticket or hold a valid VIP Pass for entry to Sea World
Participants must be able to speak and/or understand English, or have a translator present for the safety briefing - translators must then remain nearby to further translate if requested by the trainer.
Participants must have controlled motor movement
Guests are not permitted to wear any visible jewellery of any type including necklaces, bracelets, ear rings, body piercings, religious and cultural ornamentation, hair clips and pins (other than a single hair band), unless it is unable to be removed then it has to be taped
Participants must follow directions quickly to the satisfaction of staff
Participants must be able to quickly exit the pool area unassisted
Participants must not have any open cuts or infections
Guests with disabilities are asked to call Village Roadshow Theme Parks directly to determine suitability to participate in the Animal Adventures programs. Please note a limited number of special needs programs are available for people with disabilities that otherwise prohibit them from participating

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
No cancellations or refunds

Dolphin Aqua Adventure programs have approximately 14 participants per program.

Well worth the money. Interacting with 2 dolphins- we patted, swam, played with them. There was also learning more about the dolphins and we could have questions answered.

The experience was awesome. Booking it through Red Balloon was terrible, almost missed out. I redeemed my voucher and paid the extra required. When I went to check in Sea World had no booking, spent ages on the phone, got cut off, called again, finally it all worked out, not impressed with the booking process of Red Balloon

Got the Seaworld animal experience for our son. It was informative, active and interesting! He really enjoyed it! The staff were amaizing and had a great knowledge of dolphins. The only negative is that Seaworld should include at least one printed photo in the price. We ended up paying an extra $65 for the photo package. It is great though!

Howie the dolphin was friendly, happy and extremely well trained. He loved the attention and the pats. I’m a very hands on person so to be able to touch him was awesome.

Honestly this was one of the most amazing experiences! We got to swim, touch and make the dolphin do tricks ! The trainer who took us out was super attentive, we all got to have a go with the dolphin. They are so well looked after there, honestly, those dolphins are treated like royalty and they thrive. Would do this over and over again! Simply captivating

Absolutely great experience up close and personal with Hughey the dolphin. Please be aware when you buy this gift you also have to purchase entry to SeaWorld for you and everyone you want to share the experience with - that’s $90 per person on top ☹️

There are 2 groups in each group there a roughly 6 people, this gives you more one on one time interacting with the dolphins. This was definitely a once in a life time opportunity, I would love to do it again and 100% recommend it to all dolphin lovers.
