Diving at HMAS Brisbane - Certified Divers

• Departure times; 7am-8:30am or 11:30am-12pm
• Please check in at the dive centre at the time specified on your booking
• Guests must contact the Dive Centre between 3-5pm the prior to their trip to confirm their departure time
• The tour is available seven days a week
• Bookings are subject to availability
• The experience runs for about 5 hours
• Bookings will be confirmed by the experience provider at approximately 3.30pm the afternoon before departure after final sea conditions predictions have been posted.

All participants must hold a current scuba divers certification of at least PADI Open Water (or equivalent certification) and must have been scuba diving within the past two years. You need to bring your dive certification card or digital card with you on the day. This price DOES NOT include dive equipment but it can be hired for an additional cost on the day. Cameras can also be hired at an additional cost. Pregnant women are not allowed to participate in this experience.

On your arrival to Sunreef, we will check you in and see that your gear is organized, whether you prefer one of our staff to set up for you, or you would like to do it for yourself. We'll then depart out to the Ex-HMAS Brisbane. Each diver will be given a thorough briefing about the dive as the boat traverses the calm waters of the Mooloolah River. Once the boat is at the wreck and moored, the crew will help get divers into the water. The dive will last for 50 minutes, or as soon as a diver or their buddy reaches 50 bar, whichever comes first. The divers then return to the shop, where gear is washed for you.

• Anyone who is pregnant or trying to fall pregnant is unable to do the following experiences

• Change your booking up to 72 hours before the start time of your experience
• Changes are not permitted within 72 hours of your experience
• Late arrivals or no shows will result in you forfeiting your experience
• There is no refund available for missed dives due to seasickness. Please seek seasickness medication prior to your tour

The price quoted is for one person and DOES NOT include any equipment. There will be a maximum of six divers per guide and a maximum of 20 divers on board the dive boat. Minimum numbers apply to all trips.

If a spectator wishes to attend they will still pay the same charter price as they will take the place of a diver. Any person under the age of 18 years who is spectating must have an adult/guardian to spectate with them.

All bookings will receive an email and text message at 3:30pm the afternoon before the scheduled tour, in regards to sea conditions. This will be either confirming the tour, or cancelling if the conditions are unsuitable and unsafe. If you do not receive a message by 4pm, please call the office. All tour times are subject to change because of this factor.

Guests should bring swimwear, a towel, dry clothes to change into, sunscreen, hat, camera or GoPro and their dive equipment (if not hiring).

You need to sign a diver waiver before participating. All scuba equipment can be provided if required at extra charge payable on the day and is in excellent condition.
