Join us for a unique tour of Sydney Harbour and historic Goat Island and get up close and personal with Sydney's colourful convict past. As well as an entertaining and fascinating guided convict history walking tour on the island, you will enjoy delicious snacks with an open bar as well as a relaxing cruise around the harbour. Sit back and take in Sydney's beautiful harbour vistas whilst sipping on delicious chilled sparkling wine! Please note: After you travel from Campbell's cove to Goat Island aboard the traditional vessel you will embark on a 1.5km guided scenic walk (this includes some inclines) around Goat Island while you take in the convict sites and magnificent views of the harbour.

Tall Ship Menu:(subject to change) MENU: This menu is subject to change to ensure fresh produce of premium quality. Menu is vegetarian and gluten free with the exception of the Mild-Spiced Chicken dish. Note that our vegetarian options are not vegan.

Please arrive at the wharf 15 - 30 minutes prior to departure

Guidelines

The walking tour is an easy and gentle 1.5km. Unfortunately due to the steep stairs required to access facilities on board, the ship does not have wheelchair access.

On board you can also purchase some additional experiences to purchase extras now:

Mast climb: $30 per person
Drinks package: $40 per person

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

There will be up to 60 people on board the ship. Personalized small tour group guaranteed (maximum 35 per tour group) when walking on Goat Island.

Weather

The tour will go ahead in wet weather. Bring wet weather gear if it looks like rain – it is all part of the adventure! In the event of extreme weather your experience will be rescheduled to an alternate date.

Dress Code

Please wear comfortable walking shoes for the Goat Island tour, we advise you bring a jacket, hat and sunscreen. Please note that sharp heels shall not be permitted on board!

A great day. Enjoyed the commentary the gentleman was interesting and knowledgeable. We were very well looked after. The lunch was a little disappointing for the price.

The Convicts and castle sydney harbour cruise on a tall ship is a very good way to spend the morning. Some very interesting facts about Sydney and tall ship. I would definitely be doing this again.

Learnt amazing facts about Goat Island & surrounds. So much history to unravel and our guide Howard was a delightful gentleman, extremely knowledgeable and personable. Lucky to have a beautiful day on the harbour aboard the tall ship with super friendly and helpful crew. Bubbles as we left dock was rather nice, & tasty lunch served back on board after walking goat island.

What a wonderful way to broaden my knowledge of both colonial and first nation history. I have lived in Sydney for most of my life and am delighted to still learn things about my home town. The staff were super friendly and very knowledgeable. Champagne, sunshine, ocean breezes and chocolate brownies...a wonderful day out on a beautiful vessel. I would highly recommend to all ages.

We had a great day The Captain and Crew were very friendly and our tour guide Jimmy was very informative and really made the Goat island tour very interesting Nibblies lunch and chocolate brownies were all yummy Overall a great experience we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the tour

The sight of the tall ships was stunning and the tour guide was full of historical and intriguing stories of the ship and of Goat and Kid islands. A great experience for anyone who loves the history of Sydney harbour and antique ships.

Fascinating Island. We did not know a lot of the history of its use over the years. Excellent guide. Lovely views of Sydney. Snack lunch on board ferry was ample and fresh.

The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The boat was very susceptible to the wash from a busy Saturday afternoon on the harbour but the crew on the boat were friendly and helpful
