Brisbane Whale Watching, proudly celebrating 30 years of unforgettable marine adventures, is a multi-award-winning nature-based tour company dedicated to giving guests an up-close and personal encounter with some of the ocean’s most majestic creatures. Onboard our luxury vessel, MV Eye Spy, we guarantee sightings of the mesmerizing humpback whales as they migrate through the crystal-clear waters of Brisbane’s Moreton Bay between June and November. Guests can enjoy an immersive experience, combining breathtaking wildlife encounters with expert commentary, fascinating insights into whale behaviour, and the chance to create memories that will last a lifetime for visitors of all ages.

Owned and operated by the South Pacific's only female Captain of a whale watching venture, Captain Kerry Lopez. Kerry and her friendly crew are at the ready to take you on an unforgettable adventure on board the multi-million dollar purpose built luxury catamaran. You will come face to face with these amazing mammals and witness them frolic, blow and splash all just meters away.

Tours operate daily during the whale watching season with sightings a daily occurrence.

Returns back to the Redcliffe Jetty by 2.30pm

Guidelines

Please advise the supplier if you have any dietary requirements at the time of booking
Adult 15 years +
Child Age 4-14 years
Please also advise if you have a push wheelchair (limited seating)

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

This tour runs with between 50 - 150 passengers.

Weather

Brisbane Whale Watching tours are always subject to sea conditions. Our team constantly monitors weather and respond professionally to any changes. Guest comfort and safety is always our priority. Should a cruise be cancelled due to tide and / or weather conditions, a seat on the next available cruise will be offered or a full refund will be given.

Dress Code

Dress warmly and wear flat shoes. If you wish to spend time on the outside decks of our vessel, you may like to wear a light waterproof wind-jacket.

What a team of professional softies

I went on the Eye Spy on Tuesday the 14th July and i wonder if you have ever thought how visitors experience our wonderful city....Redcliffe is my back yard and i was committed to be in the moment and drink in the experience. It was so great with visitors from France, London...yada yada - the four concerns of this amazing world all having the time of their lives and totally invested in protecting these truly fascinating animals. Kerry has a true love of all animals - its so evident in her informative voice overs and she has surrounded herself with a great team of staff, engineers who care about their passengers: their comfort - nothing is too much trouble. I experienced firsthand staff assisting me and others where needed. I have travelled with the fair Eye Spy before and i would wholeheartedly recommend you all visit OUR Moreton Bay. From boarding to departing the experience was absolutely incredible! Watching a super pod of whales so close to the boat was amazing. The captain was outstanding especially her commentary and the crew were all so welcoming. Not to mention the meal provided was unreal. But the whales we encountered were truly exceptional! Would 100% recommend this business and experience!

Eye Spy Whalewatching is one of the best cruise operators we have travelled with (and there have been a few around the world!). Captain and crew were amazing, the EyeSpy was immaculate, quiet and smooth - perfect cruising it is also equipped with pollution reduction engine management systems, and other plus. The whales put on a great show, especially when several pods all came together to form a super pod, and right next to the boat. Lunch was nice, salads, cold meats and a fruit platter to finish. On-board coffee and bar was also good. Overall, you want to see whales?, and are in the SE Qld corner, head up to Redcliffe and go for a tour with these guys!
