In this one day course, there will be pre-heat treated stainless steel knife blanks and resin handles for you to choose from. If you would like any specific style feel free to get in touch prior to the class so that it can be ready for you. Topics covered during the day include the end-to-end knife building process, designing a knife, shaping a knife, heat treating speciality stainless steels, hand-grinding techniques and how to hand-sand your blade to get a perfect satin finish. By day's end, you'll have forged a blade valued at $500 to take home.
