Ghost Tours are not suitable for children under 10 years (unless otherwise stated). Children under 10 will not be permitted on any tour (unless otherwise stated). Parents and guardians are advised that this tour features strong content in the form of true historic ghost stories and tales delivered in a dramatic style. The stories may include gruesome and macabre material including murders, crimes, violence, deaths, executions and suicide. The stories can be frightening, scary and distressing especially for young children. All children under and including the age of 15 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.
In compliance with COVID-19 standards, each tour will be limited in size. Therefore, bookings are essential and must be pre-purchased and approved before the tour date. Tickets are not confirmed unless you receive a confirmation email from Historic Australia. By undertaking one of our tours, all clients agree to abide by the following: CLIENTS MUST BE WEARING FLAT-SOLED ENCLOSED SHOES No thongs/sandals/high-heels. Any person who does not have the correct footwear will not be permitted on the tour. No Refund. No Transfer. CLIENTS MUST HAVE A TORCH EACH - Guests are required to bring their own torch. One per person is required. Torch apps on smart phones are suitable. ALCOHOL IS NOT PERMITTED PRIOR TO OR DURING A TOUR Clients suspected of being under the influence of alcohol will be denied admission. No Refund. No Transfer. SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED DURING A TOUR Smoking is not permitted at any time during our tours. If anyone forgets this, and starts smoking, they will be asked to immediately cease. If they do not, they may be asked to leave the tour. No Refund. No Transfer.
MOBILE / TABLET DEVICE USE Mobile / tablet devices are not to be used during any of our tours, with the only exception being for an emergency, or to take photographs. If you use a mobile phone / tablet device for any other purpose during any of our tours, you will be asked to stop. Refusal to do so may result in you being asked to leave the tour. No Refund. No Transfer. THERE ARE NO TOILET FACILITIES AVAILABLE AT THIS SITE There are no toilet facilities available at site. Please use facilities elsewhere before joining us at this site. TOURS WILL STILL RUN IN THE RAIN The weather really adds to the atmosphere of a tour. If the weather looks bad, bring some wet weather gear, and enjoy the tour. Tours will only be cancelled if conditions become dangerous.
PARANORMAL INVESTIGATIONS & GHOST HUNTING IS NOT PERMITTED Paranormal investigation / ghost hunting is strictly not permitted on tours. This includes but is not limited to: apps on mobile devices, Ouija boards, pendulums, video and still photography, psychic, medium and clairvoyant channelling of spirits.
Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy. If a tour booking is cancelled by a client, or if any member of the tour group cancels, the following policies apply:
Ghost Tours Australia reserves the right to cancel a tour without notice. Ghost Tours Australia tours are rarely cancelled and would only be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. These include, but are not limited to - sick staff member, staff unavailability, injury or unexpected dangerous weather conditions, an emergency/dangerous situation. Refunds are granted solely at the discretion of the Booking Coordinator.

Tour runs in inclement weather. The weather adds to the atmosphere and can make the tour a little more eerie, so they go ahead in the rain. Bring some wet weather gear if it looks like rain.If the weather is dangerous, or has made the location unsafe, the tour will be cancelled and customers will be transferred to a different date as soon as possible.
Fully enclosed, flat soled shoes are the preferred worn footwear for safety reasons. Please dress suitably for the weather. Shoes must be worn at all times.
