★★★★★ ★★★★★ Recommended Beer and BBQ Smoking School Graham 9 October 2023 The afternoon was fantastic, beers with each course and excellent information to learn how to smoke at home. Our chefs were not only extremely personable but super qualified as well. Even got the recipe book at the end. Just loved it.
★★★★★ ★★★★★ Recommended The BBQ Smoking Cooking Class was Fantastic Michael McAviney 22 August 2023 The whole experience was amazing. I learnt a lot of techniques.
★★★★★ ★★★★★ Smoking course was educational and entertaining. Daniel 4 December 2021 A great afternoon out. Learnt heaps about smoking. They could really drop the beer tasting off the name as the focus was on the meat. But we’ll worth it if you are interested in learning how to smoke up a feast and enjoy a few beers while doing so.
★★★★★ ★★★★★ BBQ Smoking and Beer Tasting James 14 January 2019 The experience did not match the description in the ad. Expecting a proper smoking lesson, lots of details were glossed over and basically they cooked and the guests ate. The beer tasting was more “here is a beer”. The venue was very run down. I ended up with a lovely meal but not an increase in cooking skills. The advertisement just needs to be adjusted to truly match the experience so guests are better informed on what to expect.
★★★★★ ★★★★★ Did not provide all that was promised Brett 14 January 2019 While I thoroughly enjoyed the taste of the food and picked up great tips on smoking meat. There was very little cooking ourselves. And definitely wouldn't count a pot of; xxxx gold, great northern super crisp, and 150 lashes pale ale as a "beer tasting session". Recipes and notes provided did not match what was cooked for us. Very low standard venue. Not what I would call value for the money my wife paid for this gift, or the experience she expected and picked specifically for me...
★★★★★ ★★★★★ Wasn’t really what was described Amy 1 April 2018 The chefs were great, entertaining and full of knowledge. The salmon, beef tacos and dessert was tasty, but the mackerel was too hard to eat and had too many small bones to risk eating any. The description says beer tasting, but it was just a jug of beer per meal- no explanation of what it was and how it compliments the meal. The description also said hands on cooking but the chefs do 95% of the cooking. You stand around a bench watching them cook. You don’t even get to touch the bbq... but you get to grate a vegetable or cut tomatoes if you want to get deep in the ‘hands on cooking’!! It was good information passed on but the experience was mellow and flat.
