Rise and shine early for a wonder-filled adventure up in the clouds! You'll meet before first light and be driven from Perth to the meeting place in Northam, then off we go to the launch site, where you're invited to help with the balloon inflation and other tasks to help get the balloon up and away. Once on board, you'll be run through a safety briefing before floating with the morning breeze for about an hour. Revel in stunning views of the Avon Valley's verdant rural landscapes, rolling hills and winding streams all illuminated by the colours of sunrise from an unparalleled vantage point. Without the sensation of wind, you'll truly feel like you're a part of the sky. After the flight, help with the balloon deflation before returning to Northam for a well-deserved buffet breakfast. Lastly jump on board one final time and be transported back to Perth Crown Complex, Burswood for a stress free experience.

Important information

Session Length

Please allow approximately seven hours for this experience, from the meeting time until your return to Perth. You will spend approximately 4 hours in Avon Valley
The actual flight time is approximately one hour in duration
The departure time for the shuttle bus varies depending on the time of year as we follow the Sun. This means it can be as early as 03:00am towards the end of our season
Available on Saturday and Sunday only
Flight meeting times may vary due to weather and the time of year the flight is taken. Please await confirmation from the supplier prior to your flight as to what the actual flight time will be
Flights operate from mid-April until late October

Restrictions

Pregnant women are not allowed to fly.

Guidelines

Children are aged between 6 and 12. Younger children cannot participate in this experience.
Participant weight range goes up to 130 kg. exceeding this limit will require contacting the operator for further advice.
The supplier will confirm the time of the flight and pick up information the night before

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

Minimum of six and a maximum of 22 participants.

Spectators

Spectators are welcome to come and watch the take-off and follow the flight as long as they can travel independently to launch and landing sites.

Weather

In the case of strong winds or heavy rain your flight may be cancelled and rescheduled for a later date.

Dress Code

Please wear casual comfortable clothing appropriate to the weather conditions. Shoes must be flat, no high heels or open toed shoes permitted. Hat, sunglasses and sunscreen are a must.
