★★★★★ ★★★★★ Avoid dealing with this business Andrew 20 January 2024 I usually keep all my reviews positive, and try to keep my negative ones private between myself and the business, but when that fails to work, I will share my thoughts with others that might benefit from my experience and avoid dealing with these guys as this business is run by an arrogant owner who will do anything but apologise when at fault. We had an experience booked in for a birthday at 6:45pm, paid in full beforehand. They called 3 hours prior to say the weather was bad and they would rebook it for another day. We asked to wait out the weather as the forecast said it would clear up before 5pm. They informed us they will have to cancel anyways and we were welcome to rebook it for another day. We didn't want to rebook it as we had bought a lot of meat and drinks that we couldn't do anything with at this point. We asked for a refund as we wouldn't come back. The owner came up with multiple excuses as to why he shouldn't give us a refund, saying it was our fault and the cancellation happened on our end, not theirs. Because we definitely felt like throwing out over $100 worth of meat. We ended up disputing the charges through our bank and got our money back by force as the owner stopped responding to us and told us to take the matter to VCAT if we wanted, as he wasn't willing to refund us. A great shame for a business to lack so much in customer service, and judging by other reviews I'm not the first person nor will I be the last, I'm sure of it, seeing as the owner responds to negative reviews by deflecting blame. The boats and bbq were great, our umbrella was broken though so we couldnt have it up for shade. Luckily we were prepared with sunscreen. I think it would be great if they offered eskies and/or food packs so you dont have to take everything with you. Also some bbq tongs would have been a help.

The views around the docklands were amazing and we were able to see a beautiful sunset while sailing around. Staff were sight in seconds if there were any concerns or issues and had a very friendly manor.
★★★★★ ★★★★★ Disappointed Sue 15 October 2016 The picture showed an umbrella at night which we were informed was only a sun canopy and couldn't be used on the day. On the day we were phoned an hour before to ask if we wanted to change our booking as there was a chance of rain. A good idea if we were called a few days prior but not an hour before as things were arranged and people had travelled from afar for this. The guy who set you up was very friendly and I couldn't fault him but the PFD jackets which had to be worn were soaking wet and people were all dressed nicely for a birthday party, there was no mention of having to be tied to a buoy for the entire time so people just got cold and felt let down as it looked in the picture to be movable as it was not tethered to a buoy in the picture. Just thought this experience was misleading unlike any other red balloon experience we have been on before and we have done four breakfast experience's and hot air ballooning as well as give them as gifts to others. With this one my imagination was greater than the experience
