We hadn't been to Adelaide or through the Adelaide Hills before, and this was the perfect, jam-packed day. From the moment we got in the van, Danny was sharing interesting facts and stories about locations, attractions and the history of towns. We took a very scenic route and drove through plenty of surrounding villages.. truly breathtaking. Our tour group size was just perfect with 8 people in total. It made it easy to get around, and easy to chat as a group throughout the day. The attractions and locations we visited were perfect, with just the right amount of time at each. Danny was flexible and made sure we were enjoying our day. We visited wineries, Mt Lofty lookout, the chocolate factory, cheese factory, multiple villages, and spent a few hours shopping in Hahndorf, walking off our huge, authentic 2-course lunch from the German pub. We saw a huge variety of locations and attractions and learnt the backstories to all of them. The day trip exceeded our expectations and I will be spruiking this to everyone I know. There are plenty of tour options out there, but this is the best if you are looking for the perfect tour group size, a day full of attractions, and a very informed and enjoyable tour guide.
