Feel the rush of stepping off the edge of a 20m high cliff with this abseiling adventure at the beautiful Kangaroo Point. Once you conquer your fear, with the help of your qualified instructor of course, you'll love the feeling of being vertically suspended over the gorgeous bushland. As you abseil down the cliff face you'll get to enjoy uninterrupted views of Brisbane and the river below; full of boats and kayaks. With a fully qualified guide and all safety equipment including helmets, ropes and gloves; this abseiling session is so easy even your 8 year old can participate!

Session Length

Session runs for approx. 90 minutes, depending on number and ability of participants

Restrictions

Participants must be at least 8 years of age

Guidelines

No experience is necessary as each session includes full instruction, a safety briefing and equipment.

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Weather

Abseiling sessions may be cancelled during periods of heavy rain or adverse weather conditions.

Dress Code

Please wear comfortable clothes, eg. t shirt and shorts or 3 quarter tights.

Other Info

Bring along a water bottle if you wish, however drinks are available for purchase.

I was very excited for my first abseiling experience with my son on his 17th birthday, and the location, view and weather was perfect. The wait however was not. Given incorrect directions which took us to a dead end street by the organisers, we arrived a little late, no matter we quickly caught up. We then discovered our group was around 15, with young kids and parents each person took over 15 mins each, after 1 hour 50 of waiting we finally had 1 turn. Such a shame..

It was our first time abseiling and it was a beautiful location for our first time! Justin was a great instructor, was happy to have a joke but considered safety first. The first part was pretty scary but once over the edge and on the way down it was a lot easier! Thanks for an awesome afternoon.

My first time abseiling could not have gone better! Blair made us feel comfortable right from the introductions. He was professional yet incredibly relaxed which of course helped me to relax as well. He explained everything and at no time was there any rush or need to hurry. It was all as I was ready. My questions were all answered and there were a few!
