Immerse yourself in the culture, heritage and tradition of the Aboriginal people on this unforgettable workshop led by a talented Aboriginal Elder. Enjoy a didgeridoo demonstration, view Aboriginal artefacts and natives, dive into discussions about culture and taste award-winning wine.
Arrive at the cellar door of Firescreek Botanical Winery and embark on a unique experience where you will delve into stories and discussions about Aboriginal culture, heritage and traditions. Step foot into a beautiful garden setting where you will be acquainted with an Aboriginal Elder, who will lead you on an immersive learning journey into Aboriginal heritage in the art of storytelling.
As you follow traditional Aboriginal stories and history, you'll be introduced to a range of traditional tools and artefacts, Australian Native plants, a tasting of Aboriginal bush tucker (where seasonally possible) and a masterful didgeridoo and clapping stick demonstration where the strong vibrations of the instrument will reach your soul and leave you feeling inspired.
After this, you will then be met by a winemaker who will guide you through an enjoyable tasting of award-winning fruit wines made at the winery. You will learn how these beautiful wines are made and how they also use Indigenous botanicals to make their specialised wines, that can't be found anywhere else in the world.
Firescreek Botanical Winery acknowledges the Traditional Owners of this land and pay respect to Elders past and present.
