60 minute simulator combat flight
Pre-flight briefing of aircraft controls (approx 10 minutes) and performed prior to the "wheels up" time which is your booking time.

Session Length

Sessions run for 60 minutes
Check calendar for availability as experience is subject to change at short notice
Available Saturday and Sunday only.

Restrictions

Persons with mobility, hearing and sight impairments are not recommended to undertake the flight simulation experience. For those with intellectual impairments, the duty instructor may determine on site if the participant can undergo the experience.

Guidelines

Minimum age is 10 years old
Maximum height is 6'4; maximum weight is 120kg
Any participants that are under the effect of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted into the simulator
Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the booked time for the in cockpit briefing. The booked time is the "wheels up" time.
Email reminders will be issued automatically from the Air Combat Centre booking system prior to the session.

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

You will be by yourself in the simulator. Instructor will guide you through the experience.

Spectators

Up to 3 other people are allowed in the simulator trailer at any one time

Dress Code

Enclosed shoes must be worn in the simulator. No thongs, sandals, high heels or stilettos

Location

This experience takes place at Aviation Heritage Centre, Caboolture Airport.

Best birthday gift ever given

Purchased for partner's 62nd birthday. He loved it, and he is not the over enthusiastic bloke but finished with a big smile. Paul was very calm and helpful, and we couldn't have had a better instructor. Would recommend to anyone interested in an experience that is a bit different.

We bought this voucher as a 13th birthday gift for my son who wanted an 'experience'. He enjoyed the simulator very much and said his heart was racing a couple of times. The instructor was professional and even involved our daughter which was appreciated. We would recommend, especially for someone who is very interested in flying.

The F/A-18 Super Hornet Simulator flight was an awesome experience immersed in a realistic cockpit and a detailed surrounds of the air and the ground Air Combat Centre was accommodating with my booking and the instructor was friendly and explained the do's and don'ts the whole time. Overall, it was a TOP GUN EXPERIENCE.

Had a blast! Robert was very patient, polite with a great sense of humour. Explained the mission well, provided fantastic instruction and positive feedback. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! I would highly recommend this experience for anybody with an interest in flying, cockpit instruments and video were excellent quality.
