Whether you're an aspiring chef or passionate home cook, you'll love this hands-on cookery course. Run by an experienced chef over six weeks, you'll learn to cook with meat, fish, pastry and more, as well as master the art of plating and food styling. Have a blast honing your skills, learning new recipes and techniques, and of course, eating your hard-earned creations! Leave with a new found confidence and imagination for food.

The course covers:

  • Bread making - focaccia, pizza, rolls, loaves, stuffed breads, rolls, pita and naan bread
  • Sauces and emulsions
  • Reductions
  • Flambés
  • Preparing the perfect steak
  • Overview of meat and fish cuts
  • Specialised fruit and vegetable cuts
  • Pasta making: All types
  • Presentation skills: garnishes and decorations
  • Knife and carving skills
  • Eggs: poaching
  • Sugar work
  • Ice cream
  • Pastry work

Important information

This course runs on six consecutive Monday nights from 6-9pm.

  • Midweek classes operate from 6pm
  • Weekend classes operate from 10am and 3pm
  • Participants MUST book in on week one of the course
  • Please advise of any special dietary requirements at the time of booking
  • Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
  • Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
  • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

This course runs with 8-16 participants.

Spectators are not welcome.

Please wear comfortable clothing. Closed shoes are a must.
