Session Length

The duration of this experience is a two-night stay
Check in from 3 pm and check out by 11 am

Minimum 3?night stay for the New Year’s Eve period. Mandatory check?in date is 30 December. The same requirement will also apply for the 2026 to 2027 holiday period. Additional fees or higher rates may apply during peak or special event periods, and these charges may be payable directly to Unyoked.

Restrictions

You will receive an email with pre-arrival instructions upon booking the cabin. Additional house rules will also be provided in your field guide.

Guidelines

Guests must be over the age of 18
Midweek stays from Monday to Thursday
Weekend stays are for Friday to Sunday nights
The exact location of your cabin will provide upon booking
Cabins are located on rural and often undeveloped areas of land that are often not occupied by the Landowner all year round
Guests are responsible for their own safety in and around the cabin and property
No pets allowed
Subject to availability
Please note: All cabins have a minimum of 2-night stay on weekends.

Cancellation

For changes made at least 30 days prior to arrival there is no cancellation fee and guests can choose to either reschedule, receive a gift voucher for the full amount
For changes made 15-30 days prior to arrival, there is a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking amount (plus 5% processing fee).
For cancellations within 15 days prior to arrival there will be no refund, voucher or rebooking - partial or otherwise.
For early departures prior to your Departure Date, there will be no refund, voucher or rebooking - partial or otherwise

Weather

The cabin is a great place to be during the warmer and cooler months and even when it rains! During wet or poor weather, guests may be notified of a weather warning. In the event you are notified of a weather warning, there will be a place to park your vehicle/s in any alternative nominated wet weather zones.

Location

This experience is located in Macedon Ranges, VIC. The Galeb cabin sits on the traditional land of the Wurundjeri People. It is approximately a 1.5-hour drive north of Melbourne. Please note there is an 850-meter hike to the cabin from the car park.

Was alright

Would have been better suited to just myself and my partner. Not really toddler appropriate. Bit stressful with having to be concious of energy consumption and the cabin being extremely cold at night, as well as limited to only 3min shower. The basic essentials there were good, view was nice. Wasnt overly a fan of the 15 min walk from the car to the cabin (for this particular stay) which ended with things falling out of our trolleys and was quite awkward to cart up. We only ended up ataying the 1 night instead of the 2. The other thing that i wasnt happy aboit is the fact that trying to book thursday and friday as weekday bookings because we could only afford the weekday prices, however only to find out fridays arw considered weekend.
