“What an amazing experience to climb one of Australia’s iconic bridges and landmarks. We did the climb just on sunset which just added to the already spectacular views. Our guide, Josh, expertly guided us on the two-hour walk. As well as his professional knowledge, he was also great in providing historical commentary along the way. “After an introductory history of this plane and a safety briefing by David the experienced pilot, we headed down the runway for my flight over Burranjuck Dam and the Blue Mountains. Spectacular scenery. A couple of barrel rolls and my stomach was feeling it. Impressed with David’s skills and the whole adventure,” Geoff, 01/07/21.
“How good was this experience! Very well organised by friendly staff who obviously enjoy their jobs and love the camels they care for. The camels themselves were relaxed and content. They were very clean which made pats and cuddles a joy for everyone. Would thoroughly recommend this fabulous experience. “Our experience was wonderful right from when we walked in the front door. The staff at Intercontinental Adelaide were so very friendly and welcoming and the way staff friendly and efficient. The food was plentiful and delicious, the tea and coffee perfect. We could not have wanted for anything more. “Our wine tasting experience was provided with expert delivery by Chas who made us feel special and provided a comprehensive rundown on each wine tasted with just the right amount of each in quality glassware to bring out the best in each wine.
The lunch platter with views of the surrounding hills was perfect to complement the wines and follow up coffee and homemade cakes (extras) – a perfect end to the experience. Thank Mario and Chas for a memorable day,” David, 14/06/21.
“If you only did one thing in Tassie l suggest it should be the Coles Bay lunch cruise on the upper deck. Eat drink and cruise for 5 hours with ‘Captain’ Matt at the wheel and ‘First Officer’ Ewen in charge of food and drinks distribution. Morning tea delights, amazing lunch and open bar. My wife is fussy with her oysters and drooled over the lunch oysters. Ewen kept coming back.
We wandered in and out of the lounge at our leisure, stood up front and chatted with Matt in between his microphone announcements to our lounge and the other deck below re the history of the many visual highlights and his expertise in locating the migrating humpback whales…
Whale searching and seeing was a hoot, seals lazing on the rocks and penguins popping up in the water. Sensational scenery,” Alan, 25/06/21.
“We booked a VR escape room experience not knowing what to expect and it was startling. We were transported into an ancient pyramid and escaped using all our team’s ingenuity. I really believed we were in the pyramid and were totally immersed in this world. The best part was we had to work together to escape and could call out to each other across the abyss inside the pyramid – as in through the VR world, I could hear my friend’s voices echoing across the pyramid… What a fantastic experience,” Tony, 17/06/21.

Next, you’d be taken on a very professional masterclass delving into the rich history of the vineyard and winemaking processes.
