If you've only got the day to spare, then this is the ultimate one-day Flinders Range experience. This tour takes in Bunyeroo and Brachina Gorges before stopping for lunch at the famous Prairie Hotel in Parachilna and visits the heritage town of Blinman for a true glimpse of life in the outback.
Sit back, relax and let one of your experienced local guides take you on a 4WD adventure of a lifetime. Discover the spectacular scenery of the Flinders Ranges, see wildlife in its natural environment and abundant native flora. You will learn about the region’s rich geological history, and experience the Aboriginal and European histories of the area.
Explore the Flinders Ranges National Park, in particular the iconic Brachina and Bunyeroo Gorges. You will see yellow footed rock wallabies, emus and kangaroos. For those interested in geology you will see some of the oldest forms of life on earth. Continue onto the Prairie Hotel for lunch, famous for its 'feral food'. After lunch travel through Parachilna Gorge before a brief stop at the old copper mining town of Blinman. Here you can try a quandong pie before returning to Rawnsley Park Station.
There will be a maximum of 6 participants on the day.
If National Park closed on the day due to rain, you will be rescheduled to the following day or refunded.
Please wear closed in shoes and bring a camera, water, hat and sunscreen.
