Beginning the journey to the Grampians National Park, the first stop for the morning is for morning tea in the beautiful town of Beaufort. From Beaufort, it is a short drive before seeing the first view of the Grampians ranges.

Once inside The Grampians National Park, the first stop is to the Brambuk Aboriginal Cultural Centre, to learn about the connection the local Indigenous communities have with the area, and their long history in the region.

Heading into the heart of the township of Halls Gap for lunch, take in the spectacular scenery and local wildlife. Following lunch, it's time to get lost in the mountains. Winding up into the mountains, stop at the Boroka Lookout, to take in breathtaking views of the Wonderland Range, Mt William Range, Fyans Valley, Lake Bellfield and the plains to the east of the Grampians. The next lookout is at the iconic geological structure known by two names: 'The Balconies' or 'The Jaws Of Death', allowing panoramic views over the Victoria Valley. A short drive away sees us at the top of Mackenzie Falls. A series of steep stairs step us down to the base of the falls set in a tight valley. If you're lucky, on the way out of The Grampians in the afternoon, you might spot some playful local wildlife including kangaroos, emus and wallabies.
