This tour showcases the diverse landscapes, villages and people of the country as well as hidden pockets that aren’t popular with tourists yet. You will be fully immersed in this rich culture by living with locals and monks – helping out with daily tasks while you admire the gorgeous beauty that surrounds them.
Highlights include exploring the bustling Kathmandu, getting a traditional blessing from a Tibetan Lama at Boudhanath, visiting Pashupatinath – Nepal’s most sacred Hindu temples, and going on an elephant safari in Chitwan. You can choose to work in the fields with the local farmers in Panauti and eat breakfast with monks at Neydo Monastery. With 9 nights accommodation – some of which will be spent at a special community homestay that is ‘Run by the Women for Women’ and most food; this tour will give you a complete experience that you will remember forever.

As this involves multi days of travelling in various regions of Nepal, the itinerary may be modified to accommodate adverse weather conditions. This will be discussed with your guide in Nepal.
Comfortable shoes are recommended. Lightweight, quick dry clothes and a warm jacket for the evenings are suggested. Backpacks are recommended.
