Journey to the summit of the SkyPoint Climb, atop one of Queensland's most recognised landmarks, the iconic Q1 Tower. Rising 270 metres into the air, take in panoramic views of the Gold Cost as it lights up under the stars. A must-do activity on the Gold Coast!

Experience magic with this 90-minute experience, delivering jaw-dropping panoramic views of the Gold Coast. Your adventure begins when you head to the launch platform with your group, entering a high-speed elevator that shoots you to a special gateway to exit the building. An exhilarating 30 metre ladder climb will take you to the summit! You’ll be rewarded with unparalleled views of the Gold Coast and Gold Coast Hinterland – the skyline even more beautiful at night with the bright shimmering lights! You'll take home a complimentary group photograph to relive the moment for years to come.

Session Length

  • Skypoint experience takes approximately 90 minutes from beginning to end. This includes a safety briefing, suiting up, the Climb and de-gearing

  • Sunday-Thursday: Open 7.30 am — Kitchen closes 6.00 pm — Bar/Last Entry 6.30 pm — Closed 7.00 pm
  • Friday + Saturday: Open 7.30 am — Kitchen closes 6.00 pm — Bar/Last Entry 6.30 pm — Closed 7.00 pm


  • Climbers must be 12 years and over and minimum of 130cm tall
  • SkyPoint Climb does not allow customers to participate in the climb if they have certain medical condition or are unfit on the day. Please see for more details


Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:


  • 48 hours to up to 2 weeks prior to the experience date: No charge
  • Within 48 hours of the experience date, No Shows and Late Arrivals: Participants forfeit their experience and therefore are not entitled to a refund or to re-book
  • Participants are advised to make their own insurance provisions in case of unforeseen circumstances

Numbers on the Day

There can be up to ten climbers plus one climb leader per group.


Spectators are welcome to purchase a ticket to the SkyPoint Observation Deck where they may see a glimpse of the climbers. All can meet up at the SkyPoint Deck to celebrate after the climb.


SkyPoint Climb operates in all weather conditions, with the exception of electrical storms, hail storms or excessively strong wind conditions (in which cases the climb will be rescheduled). Climbers must still arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled climb time regardless of weather conditions. SkyPoint Climb will decide in its absolute discretion whether a climb is proceeding or not.

Dress Code

Climbers must wear fully enclosed rubber-soled shoes such as running or hiking shoes. No loose items including jewellery will be allowed on the SkyPoint Climb. Whilst lockers are supplied, the provider cannot take responsibility for the security of valuables and advises you not to bring valuables with you. Guests with sunglasses and prescription glasses will be provided with an attachment to secure them.
