Join Aunty Pat Torres, who has family connections to Djugun, Yawuru, Nyul Nyul, Bard, Jabirr Jabirr, and Ngumbarl people in and around the Broome region, West Kimberley, for a transformative experience. Aunty Pat is a writer, artist, illustrator, educator, bush tucker specialist, and most significantly, a Djugun/Jabirr Jabirr female Elder and custodian of her ancestors’ cultural stories and connection to the Country. This women’s tour provides female visitors with the opportunity to come together and learn about the local culture, history, and Country. Aunty Pat will share the intricate stories, nature, and beauty of women’s Aboriginal culture in a two-hour immersive Broome experience exclusively for women.
