Every evening at dusk the Little Penguins come home from the sea at Phillip Island. Watch from an elevated boardwalk as they waddle cautiously from the beach to their burrows after a long day out at sea.
Phillip Island is a treasure trove of Australian wildlife; seals, koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, birdlife and penguins! Visit Warrook Homestead where you can see wallabies before stopping by the Koala Conservation Centre. Look for sleepy koalas in their natural habitat.
Before sunset, you will head to the famous Penguin Parade where you can wander through the Penguin exhibit to learn more about these adorable little creatures. Next, take your seats in the premium viewing area because the show is about to begin. Witness a colony of little penguins scurry from the sea up the floodlit Summerland Beach. It's like nothing you have ever seen before and a truly special experience.
Photos are not allowed during the Penguin Parade.
