Featuring a host of interactive and informative displays set against the remarkable Antarctic landscape, this discovery centre brings to life this remote region.

Get up close to cuddly koalas in their natural habitat as you wander the treetop boardwalks at the Koala Conservation Reserve. As you meander through native bush, watch and listen for other native species like wallabies, echidnas and a host of birdlife. And finally, take a step back in time as you visit the historic Churchill Island on Phillip Island. Walk the bay trails and soak in the calming scenery, see historical buildings and remnants of beautiful heritage gardens and enjoy watching the rangers and farmhands carry out daily farming activities.

Session Length

      • Penguin Parade: Depending on the season and the weather, the penguins arrive shortly before sunset
      • The Antarctic Journey at the Nobbies: 10am - 5pm
      • The Koala Conservation Centre: 10am - 5pm
      • Churchill Island: 10am - 5pm


      • The date of your visit to the Penguin Parade must be booked, however you may visit the Koalas, Churchill Island and Antarctic Journey at your leisure
      • Transport between the parks is not included


      • Change your booking up to 7 days before the start time of your experience
      • Changes are not permitted within 7 days of your experience
      • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

      The Penguin Parade does attract a large number of visitors, so bookings are required.

      Dress Code

      Casual and comfortable clothing is recommended. Please dress appropriately for the weather on the day and bring something warm to wear as it can get quite cool in the evening
