Flying in a classic open cockpit biplane is an experience like no other! This is absolutely unique way to experience Moreton Bay, North Stradbroke Island and the magnificent islands below, as you soar high above.
You and a friend will experience a beautiful introductory flight over the pristine North Stradbroke Island, in a Classic Open Cock-pit 1930’s era biplane. With massive double wings, super sturdy aerodynamic airframe and strong double seat belts, you can enjoy a safe, smooth and sure-footed flight.
You will begin your experience with an informative, personal tour of your biplane with your Pilot. Once you're strapped in, take off and fly toward Raby Bay and over the yachts in southern Moreton Bay. You will pass the historic Peel Island, site of the old quarantine station and leper colony, before arriving at Dunwich on North Stradbroke itself, before turning south over Macleay Islands, rainforest and mangroves over Russell Island and back to Archerfield across the scenic Redlands shire. Dress like true aviators of the barnstorming era with authentic flying jackets, helmets and goggles.
