An interactive scary comedy performed in the original farm buildings at Werribee Park. Experience life in the 19th century as you are taken on your first night as new employees at the farm. But beware, an ancient creature, Black Anny, is haunting the farm.
This interactive and entertaining play ‘Down to Earth’ is set in 1866 at Werribee Park farm. Joe Higgs, Head Boundary Rider greets you as a new farm worker with enthusiasm. But his authority is often tested by Esther McLeod, headstrong and fiercely independent. As night falls, what starts as a fun welcome to the farm takes on a very sinister turn as Black Anny (an ancient creature terrorizing the farm) comes out of her hiding. You are taken on our journey of rural life in the 19th century and visit many old buildings like the historic homestead, the old blacksmith’s hut, the men’s hat, the rations hut and the stables. Great fun! Recommended for anyone 10 and up. The night ends with a beautiful glass of Shadowfax red wine.
