Step behind closed doors and be treated like a VIP with a fully guided and private tour of the legendary Melbourne Cricket Ground, where you’ll visit areas others could only dream of! On this three hour all-access tour, you will be invited to step out onto the hallowed MCG turf, access the cricket viewing rooms and go behind the scenes of the prestigious Melbourne Cricket Club. Venture through the members-only areas, including the famous Long Room, soaking up the history and heritage embedded in the walls of the MCG. Following a tour around the ’G, wander down to the National Sports Museum for a personalised journey through the many exhibits and interactive areas to learn the fascinating history that has made Melbourne, Australia the sporting capital of the world. At the conclusion of the tour, you will have access to the forth level city terrace bar where you will be treated to a one hour drinks package with some canapés.
Session Length
- Total duration of experience is three hours
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour departure time
- Available on Thursday each week at 10am, 12pm and 2pm and subject to availability
- Not operational on event days

Cancellation
Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:
- Any cancellations or changes within 24 hours of the experience date, includes no Shows and late Arrivals: Participants forfeit their experience and therefore are not entitled to a refund or to re-book. (Exception is where a medical certificate is provided)
Numbers on the Day
The price quoted is for two persons. One couple per private tour.
Weather
Tour operates rain, hail or shine however please ensure appropriate clothing is worn in wet weather (rain jacket/umbrella) as parts of the tour are outside.
Dress Code
Parts of the tour are outdoors so please ensure suitable clothing is worn. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
