Climb and squeeze your way through a labyrinth of natural tunnels carved by water over the last 340 million years. Learn about underground ecosystems and life without light. Most importantly have loads of fun in a safe environment with highly experienced qualified adventure guides.
Discovered in 1882, this cave is the most extensive in the Jenolan complex. The tour takes approximately 7 hours return and involves extensive climbing and some cave ladder work. The cave can be muddy, slippery and features very large caverns (some of great beauty) and the underground (Lower) river.
Please note that participants must be physically fit and with previous caving experience for this activity.
It is essential that you have previous caving experience (Plughole Tour) prior to taking this experience.
Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to their policy.
There will be a minimum of 3 people on the tour and a maximum of 10.
This experience is not affected by the weather and will go ahead rain, hail or shine.
Please wear old clothes with a warm under-layer that can get dirty for your overalls, and enclosed shoes with good tread. It's also a good idea to bring a full change of clothes for after your tour for the trip home as you will be dirty.
