Head to Irukandji Shark & Ray Encounters for a unique and immersive animal adventure! Located in the beautiful Port Stephens, the aquarium pledges to raise awareness and make a positive difference to aquatic life. You will embark on a guided tour of the aquarium where you will deep dive into life under the sea, learning more about their conservation efforts and about the incredible, friendly and intelligent creatures living there. You'll have the opportunity to pet and feed the animals from the edges of the lagoons, including graceful sting rays and tawny nurse sharks, sometimes referred to as the 'koalas of the ocean.' You're most welcome to stick around and explore the rest of the exhibits once the tour comes to an end.

Session Length

  • Please allow at least 1.5 hours for the guided tour
  • Open daily from 9am-5pm. The last tour is at 3:30pm
  • Closed Christmas Day

Guidelines

  • Children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult
  • Swimming with sharks not included- extra activities can be purchased at the door
