A tropical escape on Fitzroy Island awaits you. Stay overnight in a self-contained bungalow cabin and spend your days exploring the delights of the Great Barrier Reef. Embark on a spectacular glass bottom boat cruise and snorkel through coral gardens to discover a wonderful array of marine life.
Day 1: Departing Cairns at 7:30am, you'll enjoy a scenic boat transfer to Fitzroy Island, arriving at approximately 8:30am. Check in to the resort is at 2pm, so you have all day to explore the wonders of the island. Head to Fitzroy Island Dive Centre to organise snorkel equipment and your glass bottom boat ride. After discovering the wonders beneath the water's surface, you might choose to hire sea kayaks or stand up paddle boards. Come afternoon you can check into your self-contained bungalow cabin that overlooks the beach. The cabin is fitted out with a mini bar, fully equipped kitchen, outdoor setting and BBQ.
Day 2: Check out of your room at 10am and spend the remainder of the day exploring. The island offers amazing hiking tracks, beautiful beaches and a turtle rehabilitation centre that works to conserve sea turtles and the habitats that they live in.

The resort has a restaurant, cafe and small general store with very basic food supplies, including milk, bread, eggs etc. You can bring your own food to the island if desired.
