Our passionate Aussie guides will take you on our eco-friendly tour visiting hidden beaches, hiking through coastal rainforest with spectacular views, exploring and swimming in the inst-famous Figure 8 Pools and creating unforgettable memories and making new friends along the way.

Walk through Burning Palms Beach and see the heritage listed Coastal Shacks before continuing along the coast to reach the Figure 8 Rock Pools where you can swim, explore and get your #figure8pools photo!

After the hike back it’s off to the next adventure where you can explore, swim and relax at one of the local lagoons and beaches. Then take in spectacular views at Bald Hill Lookout and Stanwell tops, watch the hang gliders and para gliders take off and spot whales migrating (June-Nov) off the coast!

Jump back in the bus to relax and enjoy some good tunes while making your way out of the Royal National Park back to Sydney for the drop off near Central Station.

Session Length

  • Please allow approximately 9 hours for the duration of this experience
  • This tour departs the city at 7AM and returns around 4PM


Guests should not have existing medical issues that prevent them from the aforementioned activities.


  • At least a medium to high fitness level is required, hike involves some steep sections as well as changing terrain and walking along rocks

The Figure 8 Pools can be dangerous to visit during high tide and big swell conditions as they are located on the rock ledge of the ocean, therefore we take all necessary steps to ensure guests safety and tours only operate during low tide, low swell and good weather conditions. The experience provider actively and closely monitors ocean conditions on a daily basis and if conditions are not safe then the tour will be cancelled or an alternative activity can be offered in some circumstances.

Dress Code

Guests should wear shoes for the hike, bring sunscreen, a hat, towel, swimsuit and camera. Bring at least 2 litres of water and snacks for the hike. Please bring your own lunch.

Other Info

Ocean Conditions: Trips operate during low tide/swell and in safe and calm ocean conditions. If the Figure 8 Pools are not safe to visit on the day, then an alternative activity will be offered in place of the pools and discussed prior or in some cases the trip cancelled.
